The HCR-5 Collaborative Robot is equipped with separate tool I/Os on the wrist to allow easy communication with external tools.
The tool I/O can be configured in the tool menu in the robot control software, with selections for analog input and amperage (0 to 20mA)/ voltage (0 to 10V).

The maximum range of rotation with the robot arm fully extended is 915mm.  The robot arm is unable to access a vertical corridor a width of 176.5mm from the central axis of the robot base due to the structure of the robot.
